It’s a pleasure to meet you and we are so glad you are here!
We may look like your average everyday family, and truth is… we are with one difference you read above: that sweet little girl you see on the right in her mother’s arms is no longer earth-side. No, years from now the pandemic will not be what we first think about as the greatest tragedy of 2020. For the rest of our life, we will think of 2020 as the year that a personal tragedy changed us and everything we thought we knew.
On July 18th our 14 month old daughter, Allorah Day, was in a tragic car accident. After putting up the most incredible fight, she gained her robe and crown and joined God in Heaven on July 22nd.
To say it changed us… oh what an understatement that truly is. We are trying our best to navigate this new chapter of our lives in a way that speaks to the power of faith & HOPE. My husband and I have found great comfort in speaking with and reading the thoughts of others that have experienced this same unbearable grief. That’s why we are here.
We plan to use this blog as an outlet to get our innermost feelings written down and share them in hopes that it can help others in some way. To use this platform as a tool to help all those hurting, grieve gracefully through God’s promises.
Despite our pain – THIS HOPEFUL HIVE is working hard to better ourselves as spouses, parents, children, family, friends & most importantly as children of God.
We are so honored you have joined us, please allow us to help you find peace in some way!
